Inside Lacrosse has reported that attack Rachel Clark (Virginia) and defender Becky Browndorf (Florida) are transferring to Boston College.
Clark – a Phillylacrosse.com Co-Player of the Year in 2021 – was a Second-Team IWLCA selection this spring as a sophomore and led Virginia in goals and points for the second consecutive season. She finished with 63 goals and 13 assists to total 76 points. Her 63 goals are the most at UVA by a second year and tied for eighth all-time in a single season with McGovern’s 63 from 2022. Clark was second in the ACC in goals per game (3.53) and fourth in total goals. She scored multiple goals in 15 games with 13 hat tricks. Clark also led the Cavaliers with five game-winning goals during the season.
Browndorf was a 4-year starter at Florida and in 2023 she was an ILWomen Third Team All-American, and received IWLCA All-Region Second Team, 2023 All-AAC Second Team, and AAC All-Tournament Team honors. She also was a 2023 Two-time AAC Defender of the Week selection.
