Registration is open for the Villa Maria Academy Lacrosse Camps this summer, with two offerings: one youth and one HS camp, both on June 26-28.
Youth Lacrosse Camp, Grades 3-9, 9am-1pm (at Villa Maria)
Led by Theresa Giunta, VMA’s Lacrosse Head Coach and Mental Performance Coach, along with current collegiate level and our very own VMA lacrosse players.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
tactical and technical skills
game strategy and lacrosse IQ
skill instruction, lacrosse specific speed & agility
how to handle pressure situations both physically and mentally.
All levels are welcome as our goal is to educate, challenge, support each other, and most of all have fun!
HIGH SCHOOL 9-12, June 26-28, 5-8pm
Players will get hands-on instruction from current and former collegiate players and coaches, hosted by Theresa Giunta, Head Coach at VMA and Certified Mental Performance Consultant.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
skills and strategies from top coaches and athletes in the area
skill sessions with collegiate and professional speed, sport performance coaches, and health and wellness experts
the importance of the mental side of the game and how to use your mind to your advantage on and off the field
The goal of this mini camp is to train the holistic athletes to better prepare them for performance both on and off the field.
