From Press Release
The Philadelphia Lacrosse Association is pleased to announce the names of the individuals who will be inducted into the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the USA Lacrosse Hall of Fame. The PLA hosts the Hall of Fame induction ceremony every two years to honor the great players, coaches, officials, promoters, and others who have made significant contributions to the game in Pennsylvania and are deserving of the highest recognition.
The PLA will hold its induction ceremony and reception at the United Sports Training Center, Downingtown, PA on September 9, 2023, beginning at 2:00 pm. More information and ticket sales for the festive outdoor event will be forthcoming.
The 2023 Class is listed below along with additional awards. The incoming class was selected following a nomination and balloting process and a vote by the PLA Board of Directors, based on the recommendations of the Men’s and Women’s HOF Selection Committees, which conduct and supervise the process.
The first class to the Chapter HOF was inducted in 1998, at which time all National HOF members with a Pennsylvania nexus were admitted to the Chapter HOF. US Lacrosse requires that all candidates for the National HOF first be members of a Chapter HOF.
