Looking for a way to help grow the sport of lacrosse? Want an easy way to get exercise – while getting paid for it?

Then you’ve come to the right place.

The Greater Philadelphia Lacrosse Officials Association (GPLOA) is offering its Cadet class for new officials or those who need refreshers. The sessions begin on Thursday, Jan. 19 for 5 weeks at La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor and cost only $50.

Cadet class info:

The training for new officials will be live and in-person. GPLOA officials are excited about the new season, and are anxious to help get new officials ready to work the field.

This course is for individuals who wish to become a lacrosse official in the GPLOA Chapter.  As a participant, you should expect to receive intensive training on the rules, mechanics, and philosophy to officiate the game of lacrosse.

Applicants that are accepted will be provided with the payment method before the first class. Paid cadets will receive class materials at the first session.  Those who participate as new cadets will have their GPLOA membership fee waived for the first year.

Dates and Time:

Classes will be held on Thursdays from 7-8:30 PM on 1/19, 1/26, 2/6, 2/9, and 2/16.
