The All-America Underclass Tournament is the most prestigious high school tournament of the summer. For the first time in 2023 the event will feature three divisions in each region, for each gender — the Command Division, the Highlight Division, and the newly minted Burn Division. These divisions will exclusively feature players in the graduating classes listed below:
- HIGHLIGHT Division – 2024 graduation year
- BURN Division – 2025 graduation year
- COMMAND Division – 2026 and 2027 graduation years
Highlight, Burn and Command teams will be selected to represent 12 different regions: Baltimore, CONNY, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Southwest, Upstate New York, Washington DC and West.
The All-America Main Event will return to Maryland in 2023. Each regional team will compete for a tournament championship in front of lacrosse fans and college coaches. Teams are guaranteed five games with the top teams in each division advancing to a playoff bracket. The Main Event Schedule is outlined below:
- Wednesday, July 26 – Uniform pick up at Headquarters Hotel and team practices
- Thursday, July 27 – Pool play opens for all divisions (Highlight, Burn, Command)
- Friday, July 28 – Pool play continues; All-America Banquet held in the evening
- Saturday, July 29 – Pool play continues; Senior All-America Games are played (all Underclass players to receive complimentary game tickets)
- Sunday, July 30 – Championship Sunday features playoff bracket competition and consolation games in all divisions
PLEASE NOTE: If the region that you are trying register for does not appear on the drop-down menu, then online registration for that region has already closed. You will be able to register walk-up player on-site on the day of the tryout. Online registration will close 3-5 days prior to each tryout.
