Archbishop Carroll is No. 1, Conestoga No. 2 in Phillylacrosse Girls’ Preseason Rankings – Sponsored by Devon Construction

The Phillylacrosse.com Preseason Girls’ Rankings (2022 win-loss record in parenthesis):

  1. Archbishop Carroll (24-0)  – The Patriots seek their third straight PIAA 2A championship.
  2. Conestoga (24-1) – The Pioneers look to defend their PIAA 3A title.
  3. Episcopal Academy (19-2)  – EA is the defending Inter-Ac-League champion.
  4. Manheim Township (24-3)  – The Blue Streaks have reached the PIAA 3A championship game for four straight seasons.
  5. Penn Charter (19-4-1)  – The Quakers won the PAISAA championship last year seek to contend for Inter-Ac honors.
  6. Agnes Irwin (11-9)  – The Owls look to contend in the Inter-Ac.
  7. Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (17-5)  – The Blue Devils also seek to contend for Inter-Ac honors.
  8. Garnet Valley (17-8)  – The Jaguars reached the PIAA 3A semifinals in 2022 and seek to contend in the Central League.
  9. Springfield-Delco (16-7)  – The Cougars reached the District 1 3A tourney final and also look to contend in the Central League.
  10. Moorestown (12-10)  – The Quakers won the SJ Group 3 championship in 2022.
  11. Bishop Shanahan (20-5)  – The Eagles have won the past two Ches-Mont League and District 1 2A titles.
  12. Owen J. Roberts (23-3) – The Wildcats return a strong senior class as they seek to contend in District 1 3A.
  13. Radnor (18-7) – The Raiders look to contend in the Central League.
  14. Haddonfield-NJ (18-3)  – The Bulldawgs won the SJ Group 1 championship.
  15. (tie) Lenape-NJ (17-2)  – The Indians won the South Jersey Group 4 championship; Cherokee-NJ (15-3)  – The Chiefs reached the South Jersey Group 4 championship; Shawnee-NJ (18-3)  – The Renegades reached the SJ Group 3 championship.

Under Consideration: Cape Henlopen-DE (17-1); Cardinal O’Hara (16-5), Cherry Hill West-NJ (16-3), Downingtown East (14-8), Emmaus (19-3), Gov. Mifflin (15-6), Hempfield (17-5), Kennett (14-6), Methacton (17-6), Mt. Lebanon (17-3), Ocean City-NJ (16-4), Shady Side Academy (18-4), Southern Lehigh (18-3), Strath Haven (16-8), Sussex Academy-DE (15-2), Tatnall School-DE (15-3), Twin Valley (23-2), Unionville (15-6), Wilson (19-7).
