Tredyffrin-Easttown Township club Pioneer QuixStix (Conestoga) defeated Marple Newtown, 7-6, in OT in the PAGLA 7/8 A Championship Final for the Central-West division at Kelly Field.
Marple Newtown tied the game with 2:25 remaining in the second half. In the 5-minute sudden death OT, Pioneer QuixStix won the opening draw to set up the game winner.
The Pioneer QuixStix 7/8 team was led by coaches Anne Pillion and Pearl Rodgers and went undefeated.
