John Bodnar has taken his Team Philly (Philly Faceoff) squads to the I95 Cup and into the championship match several times since the event began 6 years ago.

But until today, Team Philly had never won the title.

Now Team Philly can call itself the undefeated champion. With a group of 2024s featuring Stevie Davis (La Salle), Ross Prince (Springside Chestnut Hill), Nick Wehmeyer (Malvern Prep), Jared Karabinus (Freedom HS), Ben McCarthy (Haverford School), and Hunter Johnson (St. Augustine Prep), Team Philly went 10-0, capping the day with a 15-10 conquest of Team New York.

The event, run by The Faceoff Academy, was held at Morris Plains Athletic Complex in Morris Plains, N.J. Other regions participating were New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, DC/VA/MD, New England, Carolina and Pangea (players from many regions).
