Men’s lacrosse: No. 9 DelTech knocks off No. 7 Juco team, Monroe County (N.Y.), 17-15

Jack Dennis (Cape Henlopen-DE) collected four goals and three assists and Matt Kracayla (Middletown-DE) and Conor Christie (Milford-DE) each had four goals to lead host Delaware Technical Community College to a 17-15 victory over No. 7 Monroe County (N.Y.) Tuesday night at Delaware Turf in Frederica.

The win is sure to strengthen DelTech (5-0) in the National Junior College Athletic Association Rankings. DelTech was No. 9 coming into the game, and hosts No. 5 Harford on Thursday at Delaware Turf.

Brandon Tice (Lake Forest, DE) added three goals and Kevin Nyandemo (FSMA, DE) had a pair for DelTech Tuesday night while Caleb Seacrist (Lake Forest, DE) posted 10 saves and Bryce Wells (Milford, DE) won 16/21 faceoffs.

DelTech last year earned the National Academic Award for highest Juco team GPA in the country in and has three players committed to Division II Wilmington, Kracayla, Louis Servinio and Christie.
