McGoldrick has been the Haverford High coach since 1986 and is finshing her 36th year (one was lost due to COVID-19) at the helm. The Fords are 4-10 this year and have three more regular season games.
Also in Tuesday’s win, senior Emma Rowland had five goals, including the 100th of her career, as well as one assist, four draw controls and two groundballs.
“Coach MG has been my coach for all 4 years of my high school lacrosse career and has made the program better each year,” said Rowland. “She has made a huge impact in our Haverford community within our athletics as she continues to dedicate her time for the three sports she coaches at our school (soccer, basketball, lacrosse).
“She is one of the most supportive and committed coach I’ve had and puts others first before herself. I am thankful to have MG as my head coach throughout my career and I know others would say the same!”
