From Press Release
The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) will host its 2022 Championship at Subaru Park in Philadelphia’s Chester region on Sunday, September 18th.
“Subaru Park has hosted some of the most memorable moments in our league’s history – from the Whipsnakes’ Championship victory in 2019 to Chaos’ semifinal upset of Atlas in 2021,” said Co-Founder and CEO Michael Rabil. “We’re proud to return to Philadelphia for our 2022 Championship.”
Faceoff is scheduled for 3:00PM ET on Sunday, September 18th.
This will be the second championship in league history hosted at Subaru Park. The 2019 Championship was decided in overtime when 2019 Jim Brown MVP Matt Rambo scored the game-winning goal for Whipsnakes LC against Redwoods LC.
“Union Sports & Entertainment and the Philadelphia Union are proud to welcome the Premier Lacrosse League to Subaru Park for the 2022 Championship,” said Tim McDermott, Philadelphia Union President. “We are confident lacrosse fans across the Delaware Valley will have an unforgettable gameday experience.”
The 2022 PLL season includes 14 tour stops from June to September. For more information about the 2022 PLL season, visit www.premierlacrosseleague.com/schedule.
