Blue Ox Lacrosse is excited to announce PLL Champion and former Penn State Lacrosse standout Chris Sabia (Haverford School) as the lead coach for the 2023 Elite Defensive Training Program.
Sabia (who plays for the Waterdogs) will provide a wealth of knowledge to the Elite Defenders participating in training. All Elite training will take place at Berwyn Sports Club on Wednesday evenings in January and February.
Blue Ox has limited spots for its Boys’ Elite Defensive Training (7:15-9 p.m., 8 sessions) at Berwyn Sports Club.
Boys Elite Training:
What is it and why is it Elite? Blue Ox Elite Training is offered to elite defensive players in the greater Philadelphia area that meet the qualifications listed below. Grade levels will be capped to 5 players from 9th, 10th, and 11th grades and 10 players from 12th grade. This program will only allow for the max number in each session to make for the most efficient training possible.
How To Qualify for consideration:
– Seniors – Started on Varsity and All-League in 2022 season OR COMMITTED to play in COLLEGE
– Juniors – Selected to All League 2022 and selected to Under Armor All-Star Team in Summer 2021 OR COMMITTED to play in COLLEGE
– Sophomores – Selected to All-League in 2022 and ALL tournament(s) All-Star team in summer 2021
– Freshmen – Selected to a tournament(s) All-Star team in summer 2022
