The Downingtown Dawgs claimed the 2030/31 Division championship Sunday at the Victory Events Summer Slam at Phelps School.
The Dawgs – in their first tournament ever – went 6-0 overall and outscored their opponents, 49-13, closing with a 9-3 win over Mesa 2020 Orange.
The Dawgs are led by two former Philly high school head coaches, Jim Schorn (West Chester East) and Todd Cliggett (Downingtown East), as well as Chris Pauxtis.
