Arrowhead Summer League Week 5 Summary
CR South 12, CR North 2
In this rivalry game it was a one sided affair for most of the contest with CR South controlling all aspects of the game. South was led by middies Bobby Kennedy and Mike Vickery, each scoring multiple goals. CR North was led by midfielder Ryan Dellinger at the faceoff X, helping to give North a few extra possessions.
CR South will take on Pennsbury in the Summer League championship game Monday.
Truman 6, Mix 4
Down 4-2, Truman came storming back to score four unanswered goals.
Defensively Truman was led by Jack Rugarber and Joey Gidzindki (LSM) and Tommy Bryson (goalie). Offensively Mike Hodgkins and Sebastian Hamilton scored multiple goals for the Tigers.
Mix was led by a strong defensive performance by goalie Ryan Rickards and defenseman Timmy Fisher.
Pennsbury 14, Judge 0
Pennsbury was just too much for Judge to handle controlling all aspects of the game. Pennsbury midfielder Jeff Pirog helped to lead the offense. Judge, only having two subs, played hard the entire contest and goalie Mike Snyder made some key saves to help keep the game a little closer. Pennsbury will face CR South in the championship game.
