The West Chester Lacrosse Association (WCLA) is running summer lacrosse leagues for both boys and girls during the summer of 2021.
The boy’s league will begin play in mid-June, and the girl’s league will start in early June. Both leagues will run through the middle of July with 6 scheduled games.
Players will be organized into teams according to their team affiliation, as well as the grade that they will be entering in the fall of 2021. The league is a great opportunity for players of all ages to get more game experience without having to travel great distances. Players are required to bring their own protective equipment and WCLA will provide coaches and referees.
Registration for both leagues is now open on the WCLA website. Information regarding the cost, as well as the times and locations of games can be found on the boy’s and girl’s registration pages. Questions about the summer league can be directed to admin@wclax.net.

The 2021 West Chester Lacrosse Association Boys Summer League begins in mid-June and runs through mid-July, with 6 scheduled games per age group.
The summer league is an opportunity for players to get game experience without having to travel great distances. Games will be two 22 minute halves with a 5-minute halftime. WCLA will provide refs and coaches to oversee the games and run the sidelines. Teams will be split by program affiliation so players will play with their friends. Registration is limited will be closed when we get to the desired number of players per age group. Therefore, early registration is recommended to reserve a spot, as the summer league is based on first come/first served.
Slightly smaller field sizes will be utilized at the younger age groups (K-2nd and 3/4th) to increase touches and promote skill development, as recommended by USLacrosse.
COST – Individual Registration, Early registration discount $125 per player- After 6/3, $150. Goalies play free- Must be a goalie for the entire summer league

Pick up games will be two 20 minute halves with a 5-minute halftime. WCLA will provide refs and coaches to oversee the games and run the sidelines. Registration is limited will be closed when we get to the desired number of players per age group. Therefore, early registration is recommended to reserve a spot, as summer league is based on first come/first served. (Times are TBD until teams sorted out- but will occur between 5 PM – 8 PM and games will be an hour long.)
