Phillylacrosse.com Girls’ Rankings for May 17

  1. Conestoga (15-0-1) – Last week: No. 1. The Pioneers won the Ches-Mont League title and earned the No. 1 seed and a bye in the District 1 Class AAA tournament.
  2. Penn Charter (17-1-1) – Last week: No. 2. The Quakers had the Inter-Ac League’s top regular-season record and have a first round bye in the league tourney (no state independent tourney is being held this year).
  3. Radnor (15-1) – Last week: No. 3. The Raiders have the No. 2 seed in and a first-round bye in the District 1 AAA tourney.
  4. Garnet Valley (13-2) – Last week: No. 4. The Jaguars have the No. 3 seed and a first-round bye in the District 1 AAA tourney.
  5. Owen J. Roberts (16-0) – Last week: No. 10. The Wildcats – fresh off an impressive 8-6 win over Agnes Irwin – have the No. 4 seed and a first-round bye in the District 1 AAA tourney.
  6. Agnes Irwin (13-4) – Last week: No. 5. The Owls open Inter-Ac tourney play Tuesday at home vs. Baldwin School.
  7. Archbishop Carroll (14-4) – Last week: No. 6. The Patriots have the top seed and a first-round bye in the Catholic league playoffs.
  8. Moorestown-NJ (9-1) – Last week: No. 7. The Quakers host rival Haddonfield on Wednesday.
  9. Bishop Shanahan (13-3) – Last week: No. 8. The Eagles won their first Ches-Mont championship and host Dock Mennonite Tuesday in the first round of the District 1 AA tourney.
  10. Unionville (16-2) – Last week: No. 9. The Longhorns have the No. 5 seed and a first-round bye in the District 1 AAA tourney.
  11. Manheim Township (16-4) – Last week: No. 11. The Blue Streaks won the Lancaster-Lebanon championship and have the No. 2 seed behind Hershey in the District 3 AAA tourney.
  12. Cape Henlopen-DE (13-1) – Last week: No. 12. The Vikings should be the top seed in the Delaware state tourney when the brackets are announced later today.
  13. Twin Valley (18-1) – Last week: No. 13. The Raiders won their first Berks County championship and are the top seed in the District 3 Class AA tourney.
  14. Easton (15-0) – Last week: Unranked. The Red Rovers won the East Penn Conference championship with a 10-5 win over Emmaus.
  15. Downingtown West (14-3) – Last week: No. 15. The Whippets are ranked No. 7 and have a first-round bye in the District 1 AAA tourney.
