- Malvern Prep (19-2) – Last week: No. 1. The Friars won their third straight Inter-Ac League championship.
- Haverford School (13-6) – Last week: No. 2. The Fords were the Inter-Ac League runner-up.
- Episcopal Academy (9-4) – Last week: No. 3. The Churchmen reached the Inter-Ac semifinals.
- Springfield-Delco (15-4) – Last week: No. 10. The Cougars surprised some followers by defeating Radnor and Garnet Valley and winning the District 1 AAA crown; they open PIAA play Tuesday with Central League foe Conestoga.
- La Salle (15-3) – Last week: No. 6. The Explorers won their fifth straight Catholic League championship and meet the District 1 AAA No. 5 seed, Wissahickon, Tuesday.
- Garnet Valley (17-5) – Last week: No. 8. The Jaguars lost to Springfield-Delco in the District 1 AAA final and open state play Tuesday vs. District 3 No. 4 Cumberland Valley.
- Salesianum School-DE (14-3) – Last week: No. 7. The Sals toppled Cape Henlopen, 12-10, to win the Delaware state championship.
- Radnor (19-2) – Last week: No. 4. The Raiders finished third in District 1 AAA and open PIAA play Tuesday against District 3 third-place Central York.
- Kennett (19-2) – Last week: No. 5. The Blue Demons claimed the No. 4 spot in the District 1 AAA tourney and open state play vs. District 3 runner-up Hempfield.
- Germantown Academy (8-8) – Last week: No. 12. The Patriots were the No. 4 team in the Inter-Ac League.
- Academy of the New Church (12-6) – Last week: No. 14. The Lions won the Friends Schools League championship.
- Wissahickon (17-5) – Last week: No 15. The Trojans took the No. 5 spot in District 1 AAA for their first state berth ever and open against District 12 champion La Salle
- Conestoga (14-6) – Last week: No. 9. The Pioneers earned the No. 6 seed out of District 1 AAA and must tackle district champion and Central League foe Springfield-Delco in the first round Tuesday.
- Allentown Central Catholic (19-1) – Last week: No. 15. The Vikings won the District 11 AA crown and open against Devon Prep Tuesday.
- (tie) Wilson (21-2) – Last week: Unranked. The Bulldogs won the District 3 AAA championship and open PIAA play Tuesday vs. District 7 runner-up Shady Side Academy. Mars (19-0) – Last week: Unranked. The Fightin’ Planets won their fifth straight WPIAL (District 7) AA title and open up Tuesday vs. District 3 No. 4 Hershey.
