Three Philly boys and a Philly coach helped FCA 2023 National Team claim the 2022/23 championship last week at the Lake Placid Summit Classic.
The Philly boys were TJ Lamb (Episcopal Academy, attackman), Roman Buono (Malvern Prep, defenseman) and Ryan DiRocco (Haverford School, attackman). The team was coached by Pennsbury coach Dean Curtis.
FCA toppled 3d New England 2023, 10-6, for the title on Wednesday to finish 5-0 overall. The team was comprised of some of the elite 2023 players from around the country. In all FCA featured players from nine states.

Philly girls help GBR place 3rd in Lake Placid Committed Division
Philly’s Lucy Dwyer (Harriton), Gracie Dwyer (Harriton) and Mackenzie Clark (Methacton) helped GBR (Go Big Red) place third in the Committed Division of the Lake Placid Summit Classic last week.
The squad was coached by Tom Dwyer, father of the Dwyer girls. Lucy Dwyer (midfield) is a rising sophomore at Cornell (which didn’t play this year) while both Gracie Dwyer (midfield) and Clark (goalie) are rising seniors in high school.
Cornell posted huge wins over Notre Dame and Boston College.
