The West Chester Lacrosse Association is offering the following programs:
2020 Boys Spring League – https://www.wclax.net/spring-league-boys
The WCLA Boys Spring League is a competitive program at the 10U,12U, and 14U levels. Teams are formed at the U8 and U7 level with an emphasis on developing core lacrosse fundamentals and having fun. Spring Boys Futures, an engaging introductory lacrosse program, serves boys ages 3-5.

Players in 7U-14U age divisions are required to have a lacrosse stick, helmet, shoulder pads, arm/elbow pads, gloves, and mouthguard are required for practices and games.
As a member of the Chester County Lacrosse Association (“CCLA”), WCLA adheres to their guidelines. Please check the age bracket to confirm the division your son will be assigned before registering. You must reside within the West Chester Area School District to play 10U and up. Please note, as per WCLA policy, players are not permitted to “play up” (or out of the age group), conversely, no one may “play down” in a division for which they are not age-eligible.
2020 Spring Futures, Boys – https://www.wclax.net/spring-futures-boys
The Futures program serves boys in preschool and kindergarten (ages 3-5) and focuses on age appropriate lacrosse FUNdamentals including footwork, hand-eye coordination, and agility. Your young lacrosse players will have a blast during our weekly sessions that incorporate lacrosse skills with fun games that teach athletic coordination. If your child is new to Futures, they will receive a stick to keep at the first session. Please note, as we use tennis balls; no helmets, goggles or mouth guards are required. Players will receive a West Chester Lacrosse Association pinnie and fun prizes.
Coach Maddie Statska will continue to lead the weekly Futures sessions for the spring season. A former Bishop Shanahan and West Chester University field hockey and lacrosse captain and standout athlete, Maddie has been coaching and refereeing youth lacrosse with WCLA for seven years. Assisting Maddie are local lacrosse athletes with experience working with children.

New this year! Uniform Kilts will be provided for the 3/4, 5/6, & 7/8 grade division.
The WCLA Girls Spring League is a competitive recreation program. As a member of the Philadelphia Area Girls Lacrosse Association (“PAGLA”), WCLA adheres to its guidelines. The Girls Spring League is lead by WCLA Girls Director, Amanda Gionfriddo, and is enhanced by a staff of paid former high school and collegiate players/coaches, and experienced parent volunteers. The coaching staff and West Chester Lacrosse Association directors will make team assignments for each division.
