Duke’s Mainline Lacrosse Club tryout/clinic on Feb. 23 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Main Line Sports Center in Berwyn. The event is for boys in the classes of 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028. Main Line is located at 1340 Swedesford Rd., Berwyn, 19313. Directors Mike Mackrides, Paul Mita, and Evan Bohner along with coaches and staff will be conducting drills and stations to teach and evaluate players looking to join one of the elite lacrosse clubs in the area. Duke’s New Jersey program clinic/evaluations on March 7 at Marlton Field House. The event is for boys in the classes of 2023 through 2027. Dukes coaches and alumni will be holding drills and work stations while providing individual instruction and techniques, with a coach wrap-up and closing discussion with parents and players. Delaware Technical Community College Men’s lacrosse program will host a free Prospect Day, Sunday, February 23 at its Terry Campus in Dover, Del. The event is open to all members of the 2020 graduating class. Prospects will be able to meet with representatives from the coaching staff and the academic support team before wrapping up with drills and a clinic. Students will be informed of the academic and athletic scholarships that Del Tech offers as well. Schedule: 9.a.m. “Meet and Greet” with the coaches and staff; 9:30 am. Clinic and Drills;10:30 am. The Futures program serves boys in preschool and kindergarten (ages 3-5) and focuses on age appropriate lacrosse FUNdamentals including footwork, hand-eye coordination, and agility. Your young lacrosse players will have a blast during our weekly sessions that incorporate lacrosse skills with fun games that teach athletic coordination. If your child is new to Futures, they will receive a stick to keep at the first session. Please note, as we use tennis balls; no helmets, goggles or mouth guards are required. The Crown 2.0, at MapleZone, Start the summer travel club circuit of tournaments at this premier event, The Crown 2.0. This tournament is designed for 2024-2027 boy’s club teams and will provide a one of a kind experience for all who attend. Winners of this tournament will receive an embroidered Under Armour backpack and will get to practice cutting down the net to take a piece of it home. The Crown 2.0 provides a stress free environment for parents, players, and coaches. Leave the team tent at home as there will be a massive covered area on property for all teams directly adjacent to the fields.
