Torque Lacrosse Academy, providing five clinics for skill-building for boys at the middle school and high school levels in at Exeter Fieldhouse in Reading this Fall. Led by Muhlenberg head coach Jake Plunket, the clinics will provides progressive and position specific training for lacrosse players looking to take their game to the next level. Rippin’ Rope Lacrosse Fall Clinic series inside the state-of-the-art 76ers Fieldhouse in Wilmington, DE, POWERED BY BPG SPORTS. FALL SKILLS & SCRIMMAGE CLINIC. This clinic is a 5-week skills development program for boys and girls. Sessions will be divided by grades 4-7 and grades 8-12 into roughly 60 minutes of skills and drills and 60 minutes of controlled, short field scrimmages. All experience levels are welcome to attend. Attendees will be separated by gender. Coaches are current high school coaches and college experienced staff. Program Capacity: 30 boys, 20 girls for grades 4-7; 30 boys, 20 girls for grades 8-12. Kevin Finneran’s “Coach Finn Lacrosse” provides private training for small groups, individuals and both in person and virtual. Coach Finn was a 10-year member of the Philadelphia Wings, a 4-time NLL champion and the franchise’s second all-time scorer. He also was a US National Team field world champion and has been training players for years, most recently in Florida. Coach Finn, who was All-Ivy at Cornell, also has been an MLL head coach, an MLL player for the Philadelphia Barrage and was a head high school and assistant coach in the Philly region. Coach Finn works with boys aged 8 to 18, 7 days a week. Skill building is provided for stickwork, dodging, feeding, groundballs, shooting, defense and lacrosse IQ. Matt Chandik One Percent Fall Showcase, Capelli Sports Complex in Tinton Falls, N.J, for elite uncommitted class of 2021, 2022 and 2023 players. Players will play three games (All-Star Games will be held). They will receive a T-shirt, shorts and a jersey, as well as film from every game, included in the $495 tuition. The 2023 attack, faceoff and goalie spots are sold out. Players who submit an application will be added to the wait lists. There will be a heavy emphasis on media coverage for the event, led by Matt Chandik, Dynamic Sports Management’s director of communications. Chandik – Philly-based and formerly the lacrosse writer for the Delco Times and a major player in the Mid-Atlantic lax media – has nearly a decade of lacrosse coverage experience and is one of the preeminent voices in lacrosse media. Chandik will be assisted by videographers, photographers and evaluators. Every player in attendance will receive a writeup about his play, as well as a piece of media content (photo or video) for use on his personal social media page.
