March 22, 2009 – Men’s college wrap: Villanova edges Delaware; Drexel, St. Joe’s win
Brief recap: Chris Aitken (Haverford School) scored two goals as host Villanova held off a late Delaware comeback attempt Saturday night and claimed a 5-4 victory in a men’s lacrosse Colonial Athletic Association opener.
Chris Ficke (three groundballs), La Salle grad Eddie DiDonato (two groundballs), Brian Karalunas (two groundballs) and Archbishop Wood grad Bryan McCartney paced the defense.

EPSLA Poll: Conestoga gets top spot, followed by Springfield-Delco, Haverford School
Conestoga took the top spot in the year’s first Eastern Pennsylavnia Scholastic Lacrosse Association (EPSLA) boys’ poll. The Pioneers garnered 129 points and seven first-place votes. They are followed by Springfield-Delco (113 points) and Haverford School (112).

3/22/13 – UPDATED boys’ lacrosse: Radnor rallies past Episcopal Academy
Alex Manderack scored his third goal of the game with 2:12 to play, lifting Radnor past host Episacopal Academy, 7-6, Friday in a non-league game involving two teams ranked high in the Phillylacrosse.com rankings.
3/22/13 – Boys’ lacrosse: Haverford School stuns McDonogh (MD) for 1st win

Visiting Haverford School lost more games (three) this week than it did in the past two years combined as a young team started a very uncharacteristic 0-3.
But tonight at nationally-ranked McDonogh School (MD), the youthful Fords took a major step forward by downing the Eagles, 6-5.
Drew Supinski scored two goals while Gavin McBride, Grant Ament, Reilly Hupfeldt and Timmy Brooks each scored once for the Fords, who led early and never trailed. Jake Landman excelled in goal with 13 saves as Haverford overcame struggled at the face-off X to gain a key win.
