4/12/10 – Sunday’s women’s college roundup: Rosiek (Wissahickon), Parcell (Interboro) lead Temple to A-10 victory

Senior Chelsea Rosiek (Wissahickon) and freshman Stephany Parcell (Interboro) scored four goals apiece as the Temple lacrosse team held off a run by Duquesne (7-8, 2-3) and won a key Atlantic 10 game, 18-17.
The win is the second straight for the Owls, who improve to 6-6 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
Also recording hat tricks for Temple were sophomores Stephanie Markunas (Ridley) and Kelsey Zenuk (St. Mark’s, DE/Aston)with three goals apiece. Senior Jess Colucci had a big day in goal for the Owls with 11 saves, including a huge save in the final 30 seconds.
4/12/11 – PA Girls’ Media Lacrosse Rankings: Archbishop Carroll takes both top spots

Archbishop Carroll took over first place in both the All Schools and PIAA divisions of the PA Media Girls’ Lacrosse Rankings released today.
The Patriots received seven of nine first-place votes in both polls and piled up 88 points.
Each week a panel of nine journalists from around the state and the Mid-Atlantic region will rank Pennsylvania’s top teams. The panel includes Chris Goldberg of Phillylacrosse.com, Dennis C. Way of the Norristown Times Herald, Scott Johnston of the Lehigh Valley Press, Rick Woelfel of the Doylestown Intelligencer, Karen Sangillo of the Bucks County Courier Times, Harry Chaykun of the Delco Times, Brad Spahr of the Daily Local News, Matt Breen of the Philadelphia Inquirer and Matthew Blymier of the Lancaster Intelligencer. The poll is compiled by Goldberg.

Marple Newtown hosted the St. Helen’s School for England last week during Spring Break.
the Tigers’ varsity won, 7-6, while the JV prevailed, 9-8, in overtime as the two teams were evenly matched throughout.
4/12/13 – Friday’s girls’ high school roundup: EA edges GA; Notre Dame tops Agnes Irwin

MC Curran scored four goals and Kristen Hinckley added three to lead visiting Episcopal Academy to a 10-9 thriller over Germantown Academy Friday in Inter-Ac League girls’ lacrosse.
Taryn Gallagher added a pair of goals for EA, which took over first place (3-0) and improved to 4-2 overall.
EA got strong play on defense by Briana Narzikul while Lindsey Reder (eight saves) was a standout in goal and Kristen Hinckley was a force in the midfield.
Hanna Bogorowski and Emilie Van Blarcom each led GA (4-4, 3-1) with three goals and Caroline Haynie scored twice. Allie Carrigan had eight saves.
Notre Dame 15, Agnes Irwin 11
Kat Land stopped 15 shots and Delaney Tuite led the attack with five goals and an assist to lead Notre Dame to the Inter-Ac win.
4/12/15 – STEPS Philadelphia girls’ HS roundup: EA edges Garnet Valley in 2OT; Radnor tops Unionville

Corrine Zanolli scored three goals, including the game-winner, as host Episcopal Academy defeated Garnet Valley, 6-5, in double overtime Saturday in non-league girls’ lacrosse.
Lily Crager had two goals for EA (8-2), which led, 4-2, at halftime, but was held to one goal in the second half. Sydney Gagnon had seven saves.
Garnet Valley (4-3) got two goals each from Kamryn McNeal and Madi O’Brien and 13 saves from Lauren Kinnee.
Radnor 17, Unionville 13
Lexy Kenneally had four goals and an assist and Emily Games added three goals and four assists while Hannah Proctor collected three goals, one assist and five draw controls to lead the Raiders to a victory over the Indians.
