Registration is open for Team 11 Juniors, a developmental program for youth boys (Grades 1 to 3) this fall.

What is Team 11 Juniors?

“My name is Joey Sankey and I am the founder of Team 11/ Sankey Lacrosse. This is our first year running the Team 11 Juniors Program, and our mission is to offer affordable and elite level training for young players. This program is offered to players entering 1st through 3rd grade. If you are younger or older and interested in this developmental program, please reach out to us through”

Why Join?

“The value and importance of receiving quality fundamental instruction at the beginning stages of learning the sport cannot be understated. My father, Coach Harry Sankey Sr, started instilling the proper fundamentals in me in the 1st Grade when I started playing. That skillset of learning how to cradle, catch, pass, shoot, and pickup groundballs the CORRECT way is something that is still with me today while playing at the highest level in the PLL.”

Who Will Coach the Players?

Team 11 Juniors players will be coached by different members of the Sankey Family as well as other qualified coaches that have a firm grasp on how to coach the fundamentals to young players. The players will get a variety of different coaches throughout the program. This includes, but not limited to:

Joey Sankey: UNC’s All-Time Leading Point Scorer, MLL 2015 Rookie of the Year, Current member of PLL Archers

Harry Sankey Sr:  Two-Time State Champion at Penn Charter, Penn Charter Hall of Fame, 2001 EPSLA Coach of the Year, and 30+ years coaching experience

Ryan Sankey: Cabrini University, 10+ Years Coaching Experience

Harry Sankey Jr: Two-Time Captain at Widener University. 10+ Years Coaching experience, 2018 NJ Coach of the Year

Brian Teuber: Drexel University and former member of the Philadelphia Wings

Where and When Will We Practice?

Practices will be on Sunday Mornings at Twin Oaks in Warrington (3129 Bradley Rd, Chalfont PA). The exact time of practice is still TBD, but it will be most likely start at 9:00am. Training sessions begin in September and go through Thanksgiving. Directors will look to continue this program throughout the year for any players interested.
