Open tryouts for the Mesa Red (formerly Olde English) Tournament teams will be held Tuesday, August 18 and Tuesday, Aug. 25 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Windlestrae Fields Complex in Gilbertsville, PA.

Mesa Red is a 9-month travel program that provides a balanced player experience from the late fall through summer seasons. The 2020-21 season will kick off in September with a focus on refreshing each player’s field skills and will carry into December with Sunday afternoon workouts and 1-2 possible fall tournaments.

Through the winter, we move indoors with weekly workouts focused on individual skill development and pushing players to develop areas beyond their natural strengths. In March, we return to the outdoor game with teams practicing together and most age groups playing in a Philadelphia, spring league on Sunday mornings. This schedule will allow players to
stay active in both their Township programs and travel teams. In addition, we anticipate 1-2 spring tournaments.

The summer season officially kicks off in late May and will be busy for all age groups with training camp, 4 tournaments, program and team social events and a program wide community service project (lacrosse-centered).

Mesa Red is not your typical travel program. It is very much a family program where everyone makes a collective investment in the development of our players – this includes the coaches, the parents and the players themselves. The focus is on the longterm development of players that will prepare them to be successful as they progress toward the high school game and beyond.

Interested players should register for tryouts online at There is no charge to tryout.
