Marc William Mackrides, age 37, passed away at his home in Newtown Square, PA on March 12, 2020.
Marc was born in Media, PA. He attended Penncrest High School where he shined on the field as a three-time first team Central League, three-time All-State and two-time All-American lacrosse player. Marc went on to play collegiate lacrosse at Whittier College and Notre Dame de Namur University, where he was among the top three scoring leaders in the country.
He excelled on and off the field, graduating with honors with two degrees in Business Administration Management and Marketing.
Marc was an extremely talented craftsman specializing in flooring design and graphics. Marc’s creativity and inventiveness shined through his passion for art and music. He enjoyed Philadelphia sports, golfing with family and friends, and being the cool uncle to his niece, nephews and godchildren.
Marc will forever be remembered for his endearing and unwavering loyalty and support for family and friends.
Marc is survived by his parents Michael and Donna; his brothers Scott (Megan), Andrew (Brittany) and Matthew (Kelly); Grandmother, Bettie Welch; niece, Vivienne and nephews, Griffin and Mason; and a host of loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
