Springfield-Delco Girls Lacrosse

League: Central

Head Coach: Keith Broome (23 seasons, 429 wins, 2019 Phillylacrosse.com Co-Coach of the Year), Asst. Coaches: Sarah Damato, Kathleen Geiger, Jackie Grennier and Aly Gormley

Last Year: 20-6 record, Won our first state title, Class AA, in school history for girls lacrosse after being the runner up three times. Lost in the District Finals.

Returning starters: Meghan Cull, Olivia Pace, Erin Gormley, Dana Mirigliano, Carli Johnston, Alyssa Long, Casey O’Connor, Makayla Cox

Key new players to varsity: Amanda Biehl, Emma Whitaker, Sarah Loffland, Katie Jones, Maddy O’Connor and Gabby Rizzio

Outlook: “The team’s goals are to  contend for the highly competitive Central League championship, return to the district tournament and win the championship. The team also will try to win its second state title in 2020.”

Conestoga

League: Central League

Coach: Amy Orcutt, 11th year at Conestoga

2019: District 1 Champions, 19-4

Key Returnees: Cam Evitts (Penn State), Julia Littlewood (St. Joe’s), Emily Lortz (Florida), Alex Aufiero (GW), Rachel Clark (Virginia), Megan Marengo (Navy)

Outlook: “We have lots of experience with 9 seniors and look to make a solid run for the Central League, District 1 and State title.”
