Philly 2020 Boys’ Summer Camp Guide:

Be Your Best girls’ and boys’ camp, new dates, July 6-10, Aug. 10-14. Grades K to 9. 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. Location: Penllyn Wood Field, Gwynedd Ave and Township Line Road, Penllyn, PA. This camp will teach skills, techniques and strategies of lacrosse. It stresses the importance of good fundamentals, training and fun!! The camp encourages all levels of players to learn, improve and enjoy!

NXT Cradle Lacrosse Camps, The Proving Grounds July 13-16 (COED); The Proving Grounds – July 27-30 (COED); Maplezone Sports Institute – August 3-6 (COED). Teaching basic skills. Cradle’s four-day camp focuses on building players’ confidence and having success through its unique curriculum that allows kids to be introduced to lacrosse in a fun, unique way. Sankey Lacrosse Summer Camps, July 13-16 in Chalfont (3129 Bradley Rd). Times: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.. Led by Team 11 Founder/ PLL Archer and former Penn Charter great Joey Sankey, Sankey Lacrosse camps (boys aged 6 to 16) consist of a few hours fundamental instruction followed by live play and fun games. Directors break up the players based on age and position so that each player is learning position-based skills to cater towards their needs and abilities. Black Bear Lacrosse has deferred all camp registration fees for Summer 2020 and has updated its camp schedule. After consulting with state and local officials regarding the facilities that house our camps, we have updated our 2020 PA and NJ camp schedule to ensure the safety of all our participants and coaches.

Legends Futures Elites summer camp for boys on July 14-16 at Herbst Sports Complex (new location). Instructors feature several former La Salle greats, Tewaaraton Award winner/PLL MVP Matt Rambo and La Salle head coach Rob Forster as well as Academy of the New Church coach Jack Forster, the 2019 Co-Coach of the Year. GameBreaker/Shipley School Camps at Beacon Middle School, July 20-23 near Rehoboth Beach, DE. These camps have become very popular in a few short years. The boys’ camp is run by Camp Director Mark Duncan, Head Lacrosse Coach at the Shipley School. Blue Ox Lacrosse/Indian Springs Day Camp (Chester Springs), ultimate Summer Lacrosse Camp Experience, Aug. 17-20, ages 8 to 18. Holy Ghost Prep Boys’ Summer Camp, New date TBA. The HGP Lacrosse Camp will is for boys entering 5th to 8th grade and will be directed by high school program head coach Ryan Tessler. The camp features past HGP alums who compete at the collegiate level will also be there as counselors offering expertise in defense, dodging, shooting, faceoffs, goalie play and stick skills.
