Black Bear has partnered with KLaxTraining to offer a new girls’ lacrosse camp at Perkiomen Valley on June 22-26.

Camp Details:

WHO?
Girls Kindergarten-Rising 9th GRADE! (AGES 5-15) of all experience levels.

WHEN?
June 22-26 9am-1pm with a break built in at 11am for Snack.

WHERE?
Perkiomen Valley High School in Collegeville, PA

COST?
$205 for the week! Each registrant will receive a KLax Player Pinnie!
We also offer a sibling discount to families of 10% per additional child!

At camp players will participate in daily scrimmages, position specific instruction, fundamentals training, contests, and personal interaction with KLax coaches. Players of all abilities and experience are welcome and will greatly benefit from our structured, time-tested program. Players will be grouped according to age and ability and will learn the proper techniques and fundamentals of the game, while also developing their lacrosse IQ in a fun-filled, energetic atmosphere run by top coaches and college players. No matter your skill level when you start the week, you are sure to leave as a much better player after attending camp.

KLax Training offers sport performance training in girls and women’s lacrosse focusing on developing the complete athlete. The exclusive KLax model breaks down skills addressing efficiency, injury prevention and proficiency in order to maximize on field results. Workouts include stick skills, conditioning, footwork and agilities and have a heavy focus on fundamentals and technique.

Coach Kathy Kelley is the owner of KLax Training and the director of the girls’ lacrosse camp. Coach Kelley has participated in the sport of lacrosse at every level over the past 40 years. As a collegiate player, she played for Penn State University (1984-1988) and was an integral part of the 1987 NCAA Division I National Championship team.

Coach Kelley also served as a High School Varsity and club coach, as a Youth Program Developer and Director, as a PIAA/US Lacrosse/NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Official and most important as a student and fan of the game! Coach Kelley has developed and coached numerous athletes who went on to play collegiate lacrosse at programs including University of Colorado, University of Florida, Virginia Tech, UNC, East Stroudsburg, Lehigh, Bloomsburg, Coastal Carolina, Millersville, Franklin & Marshall, VCU, Dickinson, William and Mary, Cincinnati, Tampa and more!!
