Black Bear Lacrosse Club will be holding a 2-Day High School Boot Camp at the Philadelphia Gaelic Athletic Association field in Limerick on Monday, July 6th and Tuesday, July 7th from 9am to 1pm for boys in graduation classes 2021 through 2024.
This is open to any high school athlete and is capped at 60 total players. The focus of this 2-day boot camp is to help high school players improve their individual and team play skill sets as well as prep those playing club lacrosse for the summer recruiting circuit by focusing on FOUR CORE AREAS:
*Getting Back into “Lacrosse Shape”
*Full/Half Field Transition Drills and Small Group Play
*Position Specific Instruction
*10v10 Full Field Game Play

The Camp will be run by Black Bear Co-Owners Bryan Churchey (Perkiomen Valley HS Head Coach), Grady Wise (Boyertown HS Head Coach), and Neumann University Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Kyle Gardner. The boot camp is capped at 60 athletes.

Boot Camp Curriculum
CORE AREA: “Lacrosse Shape”
Players will learn and complete a series of linear and change of direction drills to improve their agility, speed, explosiveness, and endurance.
CORE AREA: Full Field Transition Drill and Team Play
Players will compete and learn about transition offense and defense in full and half field transition drills. These drills will help athletes play uptempo and learn best practices to be successful in unsettled situations.
CORE AREA: Position Specific Instruction
Players will have the opportunity to learn the individual skills to be successful at their specific position throughout the 2-day boot camp for Attack, Defense, Goalie, Face Offs, and Midfield.
Players will also learn how to play together as a positional unit for attack, midfield, and face off wing play.
CORE AREA: 10v10 Full Field Game Play
Each day players will engage in full field 10v10 game play to work on riding, clearing, team offense/defense, and other game situations.
This is open to all high school players and registration will be on a first come first serve basis.
