Boys’ Events

Faceoff Training

Philly Faceoff League, summer sessions, Tuesdays, in June and July and one week in August at Main Line Sports Center in Berwyn.  These faceoff sessions are open to any faceoff guy in grades 3-to-12. There are three coaches on staff at every session to work with the variety of different skill sets each week. Sessions will be from 6-7:30 PM . It will be walkup registration or online registration so players will be required to pay each week they decide to come. Box Training/Leagues

The Wings’ Blaze Riorden/ Road Warriors Lacrosse are running a non-profit benefiting Haudenosaunee youth lacrosse players, in an exciting endeavor to grow the box lacrosse game in the Philadelphia area. This new collaboration will be offering high school and college age players the opportunity play JrB level lacrosse in a convenient schedule suited to accommodate the summer field circuit and college breaks. There will be four teams consisting of 16-21 year old players. Team names have been selected to celebrate Philadelphia history. The Liberty, Revolution, Quakers, and Independence teams will be formed after registrants complete a combine and draft on Friday, July 12th. All activities will be held at the Philadelphia Wings Training Center, 601 Laurel Oak Road, Voorhees Township, NJEach team will be outfitted with uniforms and helmets through sponsorships with Powell Lacrosse and Warrior Lacrosse. Practices will be held in the late afternoon and the evening prior to game day. There will be three practice days and game days, with three games per team for a total of nine games in the season. Games will be 3, 12 minute periods. Schedule: July 12th Combine/Draft; July 31st Practice Day. August 1st Game Day 1; August 8th Practice Day. August 9th Game Day 2; August 15th Practice Day. Clinics

All-American Skills Clinic, by Mesa Fresh Lacrosse Club and Horsham Lacrosse Club, featuring NCAA All-Americans Dox Aitken (Haverford School, member of NCAA champion Virginia), Grant Ament (Haverford School, Penn State University, Tewaaraon Finalist) and Michael Sowers (Upper Dublin, Princeton University, Tewaaraton Finalist).
Sunday July 21, 3rd -5th Graders 5:00 to 6:30pm; 6-8th Graders 6:30 to 8:00pm, at Cedar Hill Park, 449 Cedar Hill Rd., Horsham, PA 19044. Registration includes Includes Pinney and Autograph time with players. All three players play with Mesa Fresh Lacrosse.

Summer Tournament

12th Annual Patriot Games Summer Showcase & Festival, July 13-14, at several elite locations in Delaware County. Run by Heritage Lacrosse; sites include Maple Zone Sports Village, Aston, PA; Episcopal Academy, Newtown Square, PA; and Neumann University, Aston, PA.
