Registration is open for ​the final sessions of the Steelyard Sports Speed and Agility Training.

Do You Want To Go Fast?  Steelyard Sports’ speed and agility training sessions focus on strategies to  increase speed, agility and explosiveness to take your play to the next level.  

ACCELERATION 
Sessions will focus on acceleration mechanics, short sprint intervals with maximum  recovery, total body medicine ball throws, plyometric jumps, wall drills, mobility and strength.  

MAXIMUM SPEED 
Sessions will focus on top speed running mechanics, “flying runs” and maximum velocity  runs from a variety of starting positions. 

AGILITY  
Sessions will focus on the four qualities of agility and change of direction training. These  include the physical qualities, strategies selected, mechanics of the movements and the  reaction/cognitive component to effectively change direction. 

PROGRAM DETAILS  
The sessions will be led by Matt Rowley. Rowley was a minor league strength and conditioning coach for the LA Dodgers and the Texas Rangers. He has been an assistant indoor  track coach at Lower Merion High School since 2014 and is currently an assistant baseball coach at Friends’ Central School.

Ages: Applicable to a wide range of ages, starting at 8 years old. $325 for all 8 sessions.
