Registration for Penn*Lax tryouts are Oct. 14-16 at Maple Zone

Registration is open for the 2019-20 Penn*Lax Tryouts (boys and girls) on Oct. 14-16 at Maple Zone in Garnet Valley.

Penn*Lax All-Stars, the state’s premier winter box lacrosse travel team, has announced its tryouts and coaching staff for the upcoming season. Tryouts begin the week of October 14. A conflict date for all ages will take place Sunday Oct 13 for all ages. More information and registration will be found below.

“We are really excited about our staff which has always been elite but has gotten even stronger this year,” said Penn*Lax Co-Founder and former NLL pro Steven Holmes. “We have over 50 years of collective NLL (National Lacrosse League) playing and coaching experience on staff.

“As important, our coaches are committed to the mission of engraining players into the box lacrosse game. The skills learned and the competitive experience overall is unmatched. We can’t wait to get started.”

Penn*Lax All-Stars develops elite skills of their players with 8 fast paced box practices and 3-4 of the countries most competitive tournaments. Bringing together the areas best players, Penn*Lax has become one of the top box programs in the country and is poised to continue this legacy with open tryouts in two weeks.

Tryout Details:
Grad years 2020-23, Oct. 14, 7-8:30 p.m.
Grad years 2024-25, Oct. 15, 7-8:30 p.m.
Grad years 2026-27, Oct. 16, 7-8:30 p.m.
Girls’ Grad years 2024-27, Oct. 16, 7-8:30 p.m.
CONFLICT DATE: Sunday Oct 13th 6pm-7:30 Please register normally

Program Details
8 Practices and 4 Tournaments
Practice Dates: Begin week of Nov 18th. The first two practices will be weeknights followed by 6 Saturday afternoon practices at MSI
Tournaments: 3 Local and 1 Travel USBOXLA certified tournaments. These are the most competitive box tournaments on the East Coast!
Box helmet included upon making the team!
