The Gettysburg College men’s lacrosse team will host its annual Prospect Day Sunday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium with check-in starting at 8:30 a.m.
The one-day camp is an opportunity for high school grades 9-12th to showcase their talent in front of the Bullets’ coaching staff. Coaches will work with individuals on all aspects of the game: shooting, stickwork, offensive and defensive concepts, and positioning. The primary emphasis will be to prepare athletes for advanced level competition through individual and team development. The coaching staff will be joined by current Gettysburg student-athletes in supervising the day.
Cost for the camp is $150, which includes a school tour and lunch at the dining hall. Checks should be made payable to “Gettysburg College.” Campers should bring the following equipment: stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, cleats, mouth guard, and water bottle.
