“I am excited to have Andrew on staff,” remarked Coach Fritz. “He brings a great work ethic and level of commitment to the program and I feel he can really help us as we look to compete for future conference championships and an NCAA bid. I have been fortunate to have had some great assistants in the past, many going on to DI assistant and head jobs. I feel Andrew has that same potential.”

Patterson joins the BC Men’s Lacrosse program after a successful four-year playing career at The Catholic University of America, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in History. The former defenseman and goalie was named to the Landmark Conference Honor Roll, in addition to making the Dean’s List multiple times during his undergrad.

While playing for the Cardinal, Patterson assisted with the team’s current and offseason strength & conditioning plan. He is currently working towards a NASM Performance Enhancing Specialist Certification.

Patterson developed coaching experience throughout his time in high school and college. Most recently, he served as the Head Coach of the PA Express 2023 Blue girls’ team, part of a premier lacrosse organization sponsoring girl’s and women’s teams from Southeastern Pennsylvania. Patterson was also the Assistant Coach of the PA Express 2020 Blue girls team, as well as the Assistant Coach of the CBW Club High School boys team.

Patterson was a four-year member of the Rustin lacrosse program and a team captain his senior campaign.

The BC Tornados Men’s Lacrosse program (Division II) is coming off an impressive 2019 campaign that saw 10 seniors graduate from Brevard College. The Tornados finished with a 6-7 overall record, including three home victories.
