Why did you choose Juniata? “Juniata is definitely the right fit for me. Even though it was early, I had a strong gut feeling right away. When Coach (Nate) Norbo reached out to me, it felt like this was the opportunity I had been working towards. My parents and I went up to Juniata on an off-day from school and right away we sensed how special Juniata was, everyone was so welcoming and the school itself is impressive. Coach Norbo seemed very excited and motivated for the opportunity to be the Coach for an inaugural lacrosse team. He is a Coach that not only cares about lacrosse, he is clearly invested in coaching his athletes to be great students and great people. After some consideration and discussion with my parents, then speaking to a fellow student-athlete, who is playing football at Juniata (Sean Owens)… I knew this was the place I could spend 4 years of my higher education. Ultimately, I chose Juniata because the programs of emphasis (majors) were in line with what I was considering, certainly, but the unbelievable opportunity to be a part of a new lacrosse program, with an inspiring Coach who is interested in coaching us both on and off the field and to be a part of building something special. I couldn’t deny the opportunity.”
Thank You: “Special thanks to my parents for helping me throughout this whole process. You both push me harder and harder each day to become the best I can be and I can’t thank you enough. You have put countless hours into making me the person I am and I appreciate you more than you know. Another big shoutout to my club coach Dave Page. You have helped me so much in the time I have known you. I am very thankful for everything you have taught me and how to become a better man. You really did a lot to help in this process as well… my parents and I can’t thank you enough. I was taught to appreciate the people who encourage me to be better, so thank you for pushing me when you knew I wasn’t 100% focused, you can always get me back on track. Lastly, Coach Page, I wanted to thank you for taking a chance on me and helping me grow in every way possible. I know Coach Norbo is the same type of Coach and I can’t wait to be a member of his team.”
