From Press Release
Lafayette College Director of Athletics Sherryta Freeman announced Monday that head women’s lacrosse coach Alison Fisher will not be renewed for the 2020 season.
“Lafayette is grateful to Ali for her 11 years of dedicated service to the Leopard women’s lacrosse program, its student-athletes and the Lafayette Family,” said Freeman. “We value her contributions to the program and wish her the very best in her future endeavors.”
A national search begins immediately.
Fisher, a 2001 Lafayette graduate and Hatboro-Horsham alum, served as an assistant coach at her alma mater in 2002, and spent time at La Salle and Princeton before returning as Lafayette’s head coach for the 2009 campaign. She led the Leopards to the Patriot League Tournament in 2013 and 2017 and finishes her tenure with the Maroon and White with an overall record of 63-125, going 21-61 in Patriot League play.
