Dukes Nationals announce hiring of Marechek as director/ambassador of 2027 squad

The Duke’s Nationals are pleased to officially announce the hiring of Coach Tom Marechek. He will serve as the 2027 Duke’s National Team director and ambassador.

Merechek, the Director of Lacrosse for the the IMG Lacrosse Academy (FL), was a four time NCAA All American at Syracuse University. After college, he played 12 years for the professional indoor Philadelphia Wings, who retired his number in 2006.

He was inducted into the National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame in 2007, US National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2008 and the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2012. Prior, Marechek was the varsity boys’ lacrosse coach at McDonogh School, Glenelg County School and Friends School, all in Maryland. Through his own endeavors, Marechek has successfully managed a camp lacrosse business, instructing over 17,500 lacrosse players throughout the United States since 1995.

Coach Marechek’s focus inside the Nationals program is to challenge and develop recruited players who hail from the entirety of the USA and Canada. His objective through monthly training camp instruction is to assist players in becoming the highest caliber lacrosse athletes in the nation.
