“I’m thankful to Mr. (Chet) Gladchuk and Cindy (Timchal) for giving me the opportunity to continue to work with this incredible group of young women here at the Naval Academy,” Devlin said. “I’ve been blessed to get to know all of them over the past two years, so I’ll be able to hit the ground running when we start practice this fall. I hope to inspire our offense to attack opponents with grit and creativity, and I can’t wait to see how our team does this season.”

“We are so thrilled and excited Kelly has joined our Navy women’s lacrosse staff as our assistant coach,” Timchal said. “Kelly is very passionate and brings tremendous energy to our team. Her dedication to our program is incredible. As a former national champion at North Carolina, Kelly brings a championship pedigree to all aspects of our program.”

In addition, Devlin mentored Gab Harchelroad (2016-19) at goal in 2019, helping the former walk-on record 15 wins and over 100 saves in her only season as a starter.

At North Carolina, Devlin, along with former Navy assistant coach Aly Messinger (2017-19), helped the Tar Heels win two National Championship titles (2013, ’16). Devlin was a three-year starter in the midfield and served as team captain her final two seasons at UNC.
