Maria Pansini (Agnes Irwin, rising sophomore at Princeton) had three goals, two assists, three draw controls, a groundball and a caused turnover while Natalie Pansini (Agnes Irwin) added two goals, three assists and four draw controls as Team Puerto Rico routed Belgium, 22-0, today at the 2019 World Lacrosse Women’s U19 World Championship at Peterborough, Ontario.
Jordan Santana (Egg Harbor-NJ) added a draw control and Sophia Hernández (Eastern Regional-NJ) had one goal for Puerto Rico, which routed Hong Kong, 21-2, in its opener.
Puerto Rico (2-0) won 21 of 26 draws and outshot Hong Kong (1-1), 37-4. Puerto Rico faces Israel (0-2) Sunday.
