The Fly With The Hawks Elite Prospect Day is designed for elite 2019, 2020 and 2021 players that we have seen play and/or who have a strong interest in Saint Joseph’s University. This camp will provide high level instruction from the SJU staff and players while giving participants the opportunity to showcase their ability against top level competition. The camp will include a presentation segment designed to give insight into the life of a college lacrosse player, an overview of the SJU program and helpful information about the recruiting process. We also include a Q&A session with current players. On the field we focus instruction on fundamentals, position work, and competitive simulations. We expose players to the same drills we run during our practice sessions. Our hope is that you leave Hawk Hill having improved your game and with greater understanding of what it takes to play at the college level. Lunch is provided for all players and after the conclusion of camp we offer a complete campus tour.

The 2019 UNC Freshman, Sophomore & Junior Select Camp will take place over two days and nights, giving participants the opportunity to perform in front of the best coaches in college lacrosse! The camp will feature instruction by college coaches as well as games giving participants the chance to showcase their talents on the beautiful campus of the University of North Carolina.

Training

The Ascension Lacrosse Academy, a non-travel club training and development program solely focused on player development for boys in Grades 5 through 8, is being launched in November. The program is purposely designed not to interfere with any club program in any way and the teams will not be traveling to tournaments but rather focus solely on intermittent training locally for top tier players in the Philadelphia area.
The program is designed to maximize player:coach ratios and so there are a very limited number of slots per position per grade. There will be 25 players (6A 6D 9M 2G 2LSM) per grade. The Academy has assembled an elite cast of coaches from the Philly region.
Entire program information can be found on the website: www.ascensionlax.com.
Players must apply (free) at https://www.ascensionlax.com/apply and once applications are reviewed over the next few weeks directors will send out registration email links and once position maximums are filled (limited slots) players will be notified of a waitlist.
(https://www.ascensionlax.com/apply_ Application is free and takes 30 seconds and registration links or waitlist notifications will be sent out the week of October 15th)

Quaker Player Development at the University of Pennsylvania “Bubble” in December and January for elite middle school and high school boys’ lacrosse players.
Each session will feature 2 hours of continuous work broken up into two distinct phases: Skill and “Shoot and Save.”
For the first segment of each session, players will work with our staff to progress through stickwork and shooting drills specific to their position with a focus on technique and pace. The second half of each session will be based around LIVE drills with goalies in the cage to challenge shooters to be dialed in on every rep.
All sessions will be held in UPenn’s “Bubble.”, a climate-controlled NCAA regulation field with parking on-site. Sessions will be lead by the University of Pennsylvania staff and players, in addition to other local college coaches on a weekly basis. The full program will run for 5 weeks, and the curriculum will build from week to week to layer skills and concepts.
This program is open to Attack/Midfield/Defensive players (interested goalies, please email for separate details) and will be broken up into High School and Middle School groups. While open to all High School/Middle School players, the pace and coaching is geared towards experienced players and is not a good fit for new players.

Maple Zone/Heritage Lacrosse Boys Indoor Box League. The indoor box league features boards and corners to create a “full box” field to keep the ball in play as much as possible.
The league also utilizes a shot clock to keep the pace of play moving at the speed of box lacrosse
Attackmen and midfielders learn to operate in tight spaces improving their stick skills, passing and shooting accuracy. Defenders cannot use long poles which allows them learn how to properly defend using their body and feet.
