Natalie Pansini (Agnes Irwin) had three goals while Emily Wills (Agnes Irwin) and Olivia Durks (Episcopal Academy) and Kathryn Toohey (Garnet Valley) each had two goals as Team Philadelphia defeated Baltimore, 11-10, today in the Highlight (2019-2020) Division at the Under Armour Underclassmen Games at Towson University.
Team Philly finished the day 1-1 overall, also suffering a 13-4 loss to Long Island.
The Philly boys’ Highlight team went 0-2, falling to Baltimore, 8-6, and New England, 11-8.
In the Command Division (2021-2022), Team Philly’s boys went 1-1, gaining a 10-3 win over New England and taking a 9-6 defeat to Baltimore In the win over New England, Tucker Milhous (Malvern Prep) had three goals while Mason Lazasz (La Salle) and James Reilly Dugan (Episcopal Academy) each scored twice.
The Philly girls’ Command team (1-2 overall) also went 1-1, downing the South, 13-8, as Sarah Groark (Episcopal Academy) and Rachel Clark (Conestoga) each scored three goals.
New Jersey’s Highlight girls’ team is 2-0, finishing today with a 14-4 win over the Midwest as Meg Hillman (Lawrenceville School) had three goals. New Jersey’s Command team is 3-0; the big win today was an 11-10 triumph over New England. McKenzie Blake (Haddonfield) had three goals in that victory.
The New Jersey boys’ Command team is 2-1, closing with an 11-6 win over the Southwest. The New Jersey boys’ Highlight team is 1-1.
