Over 220 club teams and 150 college coaches descended on North East, MD’s Calvert Regional Sports Park for Project 120, an annual USL Sanctioned Tournament held by Pennsylvania-based Ultimate Events and Sports. Many Philly teams competed, with Ultimate NJ Blue 2022 Philly Blast 2023 and PA Express 2024 winning their respective divisions. Please find a full list of winners below:

Youth and high school club programs from CT, MA, MD, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, and PA made the trip to Calvert, and were joined by coaches from programs like Penn State, Navy, Northwestern, Loyola, Ohio State, Georgetown, and UMBC for a weekend filled with competitive lacrosse.

Each year a portion of Project 120 proceeds is donated to a non-profit organization. A direct percentage of registration fees goes towards a “project” that is benefiting the lacrosse community. This year, proceeds went to the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League Foundation.

The WPLL Foundation provides programming across all levels of the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League, support the development of girls and women so they can excel in their lives on and off the playing field. All players attending Project 120 were welcome to attend a complimentary WPLL game between the Baltimore Brave and the New York Fight, which took place during the tournament.

“We were extremely pleased with this year’s Project 120 tournament,” explained Ultimate Events and Sports Co-Owner Rebecca Wells. “The event ran smoothly, the games we competitive, and the coaches we have been in touch with were impressed by the caliber of talent present. This year it was especially powerful bringing a WPLL game directly to the tournament–connecting players participating at the tournament directly to their role models.”

UES is preparing for its next tournament, The Grind, which will take place from July 6-July 8 at a variety of nearby sites in West Chester, Malvern, and Dowington, PA. 320 club programs and over 150 college programs including Princeton, Navy, Northwestern, Louisville, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Yale plan to attend.
