The Duke’s Lacrosse Club Elite won the 2022 Black Division championship Sunday at Calvert Regional park in North East, MD., with a 13-0 shutout of TEAM Lacrosse.
Tate Jones led the Dukes offense on the day with 17 goals while defensemen Owen Hires and Henry Troy stood out. Goalies Liam Murphy and Brayden Skipper were strong in goal, especially over the last two games and in the Championship shutout.
Jorden Butler keyed the Championship by owning the faceoff circle with a 85% win percentage. All members contributed to the title.
