Salisbury 2-time All-American defenseman Kyle Tucker (Downingtown East) and Cabrini junior attackman Jordan Krug (Cherokee-NJ) have been named to the USILA Division III Pres-Season Player of the Year Watch List.

Both Tucker and Krug also were named by Lacrosse Magazine as one of four finalists for the Preseason Player of the Year award, joining SUNY Cortland’s Nate Beresovoy and Harry Stanton from Wesleyan.

The magazine’s staff will select a winner to be published in its February NCAA preview edition.
Krug was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America Third Team after a 2017 campaign that included a team high 75 points and 58 goals.
Krug recorded at least three points in 14 of the Cavaliers’ 21 games in 2017, including a six point performance in Cabrini’s upset over No. 1 Salisbury.

Krug and the Cabrini men’s lacrosse team will open their 2018 season on Saturday, Feb. 17, when they make the short trip to Haverford College. The team will make its Edith Robb Dixon field debut one week later, as Lynchburg College visits campus.
