From Press Release

There is still time to register for the Liberty Lacrosse Shootout, by Heritage Lacrosse, on June 9-10 at the MapleZone Institute Sports Village in Aston, PA.

Over 50 boys’ teams and 1,000 players are expected to participate in one of most popular events on the boys’ youth lacrosse (Grades 1 through 9) calendar. As in years’ past, the event will feature a diverse group of recreational and club/travel teams.

Brackets, dates of play and additional information are on the Liberty Lacrosse website. To register or learn more, please visit the Shootout website –

Brackets will be organized by grade/graduation year, though we will endeavor to accommodate recreational teams organized by age (i.e., U9, U11, U13, U15). We typically field two levels of play in each bracket based on interest (AA/Elite and A). Dates of play are as follows:

Saturday, June 9th
2029 (1st Grade)
2028 (2nd Grade)
2025 (5th Grade)
2024 (6th Grade)
Sunday, June 10th
2027 (3rd Grade)
2026 (4th Grade)
2023 (7th Grade)
2022 (8th Grade)

Rec/Club brackets are available in each division (subject to interest) to help align teams that are organized by age/grade/ability. Our goal is to see highly competitive games and, perhaps, lots of 4v4 Bravehearts!;
Teams will play at least 3 games in diverse pools within their bracket; pool winners advance in a playoff format;
The Shootout is conveniently situated within a few hours’ drive from a number of lacrosse hotbeds, permitting day trips and ensuring good competition. Liberty typically draws teams from Greater Philadelphia, Central PA, Lehigh Valley, New Jersey, Maryland, New York and Connecticut;
Team tents will abound along the perimeter of the properties, so plan to get situated, comfortable and just enjoy the spirit of the game in friendship!
Teams will be recognized for sportsmanship based largely on “Honor the Game” scorecards kept by Shootout officials and site marshals after each game.
Space is limited. It is anticipated the Shootout will fill up in advance of the deadline, as it has the past 14 years! Registrations are processed on a first come, first serve basis (subject to level of interest/balancing of brackets). If you have any questions, please let us know –!
