Registration is open for the West Chester Lacrosse Association Girls Winter Skills Clinics.
Register your player today for the 2019 Girls Winter Skills Clinics at Westtown School to keep your players active during the winter months and recharge their lacrosse skills in preparation for spring seasons! The foundation of the clinic is a high-level instruction to hone core fundamental skills in a fun environment. Open to all beginners who want to try a new sport as well as experienced players looking to cultivate their game! Participating players will get hundreds of touches at each of the six sessions. The clinics are an excellent opportunity to fine-tune stick skills.
Girls Winter Skills Clinic will by collegiate and coaching standout, Amanda Gionfriddo. Clinics are staffed with standout local high school and collegiate players. Players will be separated by age and skill level to ensure appropriate coaching and efficient sessions. Space is limited, and spots are on a first come, first served basis!
ELIGIBLE PLAYERS –
Open to all registrants, players outside of West Chester are welcome
Players in grades 1st – 9th
DATES/TIMES – Saturdays: January 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th; February 2nd, 9th, 3 PM – 6 PM*
*Depending on the number of players signed up per age group will determine
Clinic times and whether the clinic will divide into two or three sections.
We will let you know the breakdown of sessions closer to the beginning of the clinics.

Travel Team
The West Chester Girls Patriots are competitive girls travel teams dedicated to the development of rising 4th through 7th-grade lacrosse players, graduation years 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027.
The competitive West Chester Patriots Girls Lacrosse Travel team are girls’ lacrosse travel teams that educate and coaches our players to show sportsmanship, teamwork, and grow their lacrosse skills. The goal of the Patriots is to provide girls with an opportunity to learn and love the game of lacrosse. Patriots are grouped into two teams, Patriots-Red and Patriots-Blue, by graduation years.
Standout and award-winning high school and collegiate lacrosse player, Amanda Gionfriddo, “Coach g”, is WCLA Girls’ Director and leads the Patriots program. Please contact “Coach g” with any questions about the program.

West Chester Lacrosse Association Winter Futures CO-ED Program
West Chester Lacrosse Association Futures is a developmental program that serves boys and girls in kindergarten and preschool (2018/19 school year, ages 3+) and will focus on age-appropriate lacrosse FUNdamentals including footwork, hand-eye coordination, and agility. Your young lacrosse players will have a blast during our weekly sessions that incorporate lacrosse skills with energizing games that teach athletic coordination. If your child is new to Futures, they will receive a stick to keep at the first session. Please note, as we use tennis balls, no helmets, goggles or mouth guards are required.
DATES – January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31st; February 7th
TIME 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Coach Nicole Lockhart will continue to lead the weekly Futures sessions for the fall season. A former high school Ches-Mont All-Area and collegiate All-American field hockey and lacrosse athlete, Nicole is a tenured youth lacrosse coach. In addition, her 15+ vast experience as an elementary education teacher in the West Chester Area School District makes her the perfect fit for our Futures program. Assisting Nicole are local high school lacrosse athletes with experience working with children.
