Registration open for @BlackBearLC Fall Instructional Lacrosse League

Black Bear Lacrosse is proud to offer the 1st Annual Fall Instructional Lacrosse League for beginner to intermediate players in grades K-8. The league will he held at New Hanover Recreation Center in Frederick.

REGISTER TODAY

Players will be given the opportunity to learn from high school coaches in our LOCAL community. Players will work on individual skills and team concepts for the first half of practice before participating in a controlled scrimmage against another grade level team. Head Coaches Grady Wise (Boyertown) and Bryan Churchey (Perkiomen Valley/2018 Mercury All-Area Coach of the Year) along with Pat Jenkins (former Head Coach at Aliso Nigel High School, CA. and Ursinus College Assistant Coach) and other Black Bear staff will coach/instruct each team. Players will be grouped by grade level and rec. program (depending on total numbers).

Settled Offense
Transition Offense & Defense
Clearing/Riding
Extra Man Offense/ Man Down Defense
Ground balls

Individual Skills Include:
Shooting Technique
Individual Dodging
Defensive Approaches
Defending different areas on the field
Passing/Catching
Agility

When?
Sunday: 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7
K-2nd, 3rd-4th Grade: 10:30am-12:00pm
5th-6th Grade: 12:00pm-1:30pm
7th-8th Grade: 12:00pm-1:30pm

Who?
League is meant for the beginner to intermediate player. Boys in grades K-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, 7th-8th
*Players will be grouped according to their rec program and grade level.

Cost?
K-2nd grade $75 per player
3rd-8th grade $100 per player
Cost includes a reversible pinnie to keep!

Our goal is to offer quality coaching and instruction to our local lacrosse communities at a competitive price for the beginner to intermediate player that is looking for a fun/engaging instructional environment to grow their skill sets and lacrosse IQ.
