Philly boys, girls open bid for @NLClacrosse title with quarterfinal games Thursday morning

FREDERICA, Del. – The Pennsylvania and New Jersey boys and PA, NJ and Delaware girls open play Thursday morning in the quarterfinals of the High School Division at the National Lacrosse Classic at the Delaware Turf Sports Complex.

The PA boys went 2-1 in Pool B and face Carolina in the quarterfinals at 9 a.m. New Jersey went 2-1 in Pool A and meets Colorado at 9 a.m.

In the girls’ HS Division, Pennsylvania – the 2015 and 2016 champion and 2017 runner-up – went 4-0 overall and won the top seed from Pool D. It opens against New Jersey – 2-1 in Pool A – at 8 a.m. Delaware was 2-1 in Pool D and faces New England in the quarters.

In the 2022-23 Middle School Division, the PA girls went undefeated in winning Pool B and meets PA/NJ, a Pool C runner-up, in the quarterfinals at 9 a.m. New Jersey, the Pool A runner-up, faces Garden State. in the 2024-25 Division, New Jersey went undefeated and has a top seed and a semifinals berth.
