Members of the Haverford School lacrosse team team partnered with Eldernet to support elderly citizens living alone at Ardmore House.
Students packed bags with toiletries, food, gifts, warm clothes, and other essentials. The team then delivered the bags to residents at Ardmore House, giving students the ability to spread some joy and provide for those in our neighborhood.
“Being able to give back to the community is a great feeling, especially during the holiday season,” said Fords senior Pete Garno. “Every year this is a great way for our team to come together as one and give back to people in our area.
“Delivering bags of food and gifts to people living at Ardmore House – and seeing how much it really means to them – is a very humbling and special experience.”
