Ohio State sophomore Christian Feliziani (Episcopal Academy, NXT LC) has been named the Big 10 Faceoff Specialist of the Week.

Christian Feliziani
• Won 10 of 12 face-offs as Ohio State defeated Cleveland State, 13-6, in the season opener
• The 10 face-off wins were a career high for the sophomore
• Earns his first Big Ten Specialist of the Week honor
• Last Ohio State Big Ten Specialist of the Week: Jake Withers (April 25, 2017)

Freshman of the Week
Jack Kelly, Penn State
M – Scarbrough, Ontario, Canada – Birchmount Park
• Scored two goals on just two shot attempts in his first collegiate game with the Nittany Lions
• Also caused one turnover and picked up two ground balls
• Earns his first Big Ten Freshman of the Week award
• Last Penn State Big Ten Freshman of the Week: Mac O’Keefe (April 25, 2017)

Offensive Player of the Week
Ryan Keenan, Penn State
Sr. – M – Smithtown, N.Y. – Smithtown West
• Scored a career-best five goals on nine shots and registered two assists in the Nittany Lions’ season opener
• Also added five ground balls while recording his third career hat trick
• Earns his second Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor
• Last Penn State Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week: Nick Aponte (May 2, 2017)

Defensive Player of the Week
Garrett Michaeli, Rutgers
Jr. – D – Draper, Utah – Corner Canyon
• Anchored Rutgers’ defensive unit with five ground balls and caused a turnover in the Scarlet Knights’ 11-7 season opening victory against Robert Morris
• In his first career start, played all 60 minutes and aided RU’s four-goal win
• Collects his first career Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week plaudit
• Last Rutgers Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week: Kyle Pless (Mar. 14, 2017)
